VOLATILITY TREND

FX Vol.

Yearly volatility X% | Range: 20%–99%

The number in the name is the yearly volatility percentage. FX Vol.20 can move 20% in a year; FX Vol.99 can move 99%. For context: gold typically moves 10–30% per year. Higher volatility = more price swings = more trading opportunities.

BEST FOR: All trader levels · Choose your volatility level

VOLATILITY + SPIKES SPIKE

SPIKE — SFX Vol.

Same as FX Vol. — plus a spike every ~30 min

Behaves exactly like FX Vol. in terms of yearly volatility (20–99%). The key difference: the price spikes sharply up or down every 30 minutes on average. This makes them react like news events, creating predictable windows of high activity.

BEST FOR: News traders · Gap catchers · Spike hunters

DIRECTIONAL ↑ BUY ONLY

PainX

Price goes UP — drops rarely

Price trends upward continuously. Once every 400, 600, 800, 999, or 1200 ticks (depending on the variant), it drops suddenly. The number in the name tells you how often drops occur — Pain400 drops more often than Pain1200. You never need to guess direction: always buy. Just watch for the drop.

BEST FOR: Beginners · Scalpers · Buy-only strategies

DIRECTIONAL ↓ SELL ONLY

GainX

Price goes DOWN — jumps rarely

The mirror image of PainX. Price trends downward continuously. Once every 400, 600, 800, 999, or 1200 ticks, it jumps sharply upward. Always sell short. Just watch for the sudden jump. The number in the name = how often jumps occur.

BEST FOR: Beginners · Scalpers · Sell-only strategies

RANGE RANGE

FlipX

50/50 direction flip · Fixed step size · No sudden moves

At each step, the price has a 50% chance of going up or down. The step size is fixed and coded into the algorithm — no random gaps, no sudden spikes. The number in the name is the fixed step multiplier. Price movement is smooth and range-bound by nature.

BEST FOR: Range traders · Mean-reversion strategies

SWITCH SWITCH

SwitchX

Starts as GainX, then flips to PainX after a jump

Behaves like GainX: price goes down and periodically jumps. After one of those jumps, the SWITCH occurs and the index permanently flips to PainX behaviour (price goes up, drops occasionally). The switch is a one-time event per cycle. Key skill: recognising when the switch has happened.

BEST FOR: Adaptive traders · Pattern readers

BREAKOUT BREAK

BreakX

GainX until a bigger jump triggers a permanent switch to PainX

Starts as GainX (price goes down, periodic jumps). After each jump, the algorithm compares it to the previous jump. If the new jump is HIGHER than the last one — the index permanently switches to PainX mode. If not — it continues downward. Watching jump sizes is the key to trading BreakX.

BEST FOR: Breakout traders · Pattern watchers

TREND TREND

TrendX

GainX until a confirmed trend reversal switches it to PainX

Starts as GainX (price goes down, periodic jumps). It switches to PainX mode only when a full trend reversal is confirmed. Uptrend = higher highs AND higher lows. Downtrend = lower highs AND lower lows. Perfect for trend-following strategies on synthetic instruments.

BEST FOR: Trend traders · Technical analysts

PROGRESSION LINEAR

PlusX 1

Linear growth · Steps: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

A progression index where each step size increases by exactly 1. Step 1 = size 1, step 2 = size 2, step 3 = size 3, and so on. The growth is linear, steady, and fully predictable. The most transparent of all progression indices — ideal for building and back-testing strategies.

BEST FOR: Strategy builders · Beginners in progression

PROGRESSION FIBONACCI

FiboX

Fibonacci growth · Steps: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 …

A progression index driven by the Fibonacci sequence — each step equals the sum of the two preceding steps. Growth starts slow and accelerates organically. Fibonacci levels are already used by millions of technical traders on real markets, making FiboX intuitive for anyone familiar with Fibo analysis.

BEST FOR: Technical analysts · Fibonacci traders

PROGRESSION QUADRATIC

QuadX

Quadratic growth · Steps: 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36 …

Each step size is the square of the next integer. This creates explosive, rapidly accelerating growth. Early steps are small; later steps are enormous. The profit potential within a single trend is the highest of all progression indices — but so is the risk if you catch a reversal late.

BEST FOR: Experienced traders · High risk/reward seekers
