How is my Region determined in SyntX World Cup 2026?

Learn how your Region is assigned in SyntX World Cup 2026 and why it's fixed once your country is set.

Learn how Weltrade determines which of the four contest Regions you compete in, based on your verification status and registered country.

The four Regions

Everyone competes inside one of four Regions during Stage 1:

  • Africa

  • LATAM and Caribbean

  • Asia and Oceania

  • Rest of the World

The full list of countries in each Region is published on the contest page. Residents of countries Weltrade does not serve cannot take part, and we may add further country restrictions at any time if the law or our compliance rules require it.

How your Region is determined

  • If you have already passed identity verification, we use the country on your verified documents.

  • If you have not, we use the country in your profile at the moment you register.

  • Your contest country is then fixed and cannot be changed by hand.

If you complete identity verification during the contest and your verified country turns out to be different, we move you to the Region that matches it. Giving false information about where you live breaks the contest rules and can lead to disqualification
