When you log in to Weltrade 2.0, you log in to your Weltrade profile with your email and profile password. Your trading accounts are inside this profile, but each one is a separate MetaTrader 5 account protected by its own trading password.
To work with a trading account in the app, you need to connect it to the app once (entering its trading password). After that, the app can load the account's data from the MetaTrader 5 server, so you can:
See the account's balance
See prices and instruments and trade
Deposit, withdraw, and transfer funds
This guide explains how to connect a trading account and what to do if something goes wrong.
Note: all trading accounts (created both in web Personal profile and Weltrade 2.0 mobile app) need to be connected in Weltrade mobile app 2.0.
How to tell if an account is not connected
An account that is not connected shows:
The Not connected label
The banner Sign in to see your balance
Inactive Deposit, Withdraw, and Transfer buttons
Hidden instruments on the Trade tab
How to connect a trading account
1. On the Home screen, select the trading account at the top of the screen.
2. Tap Sign in to this account.
3. Enter the account's trading password (not your profile password) and confirm. The account is now connected, and you can see its balance and start trading.
In Accounts, you can see how many of your accounts are connected, for example "2 of 3 connected."
Do I need to connect every time?
No. The app remembers the trading password on this phone, so you only need to do this once per account. If the connection drops, tap Reconnect. You won't need to enter the password again.
You will need to connect your accounts again if you:
Reinstall the app
Change the trading password
