P2P withdrawals allow you to receive funds using local payment methods through verified payment agents. This article explains how to withdraw funds via P2P in Weltrade, how the process works, and where to check your withdrawal status.
How to withdraw money via P2P?
P2P (peer-to-peer) withdrawal lets you cash out your Weltrade balance through
trusted Payment Agents in your country. You choose an agent based on the payment method, exchange rate and limits that suit you best. The platform holds the transaction in escrow until both sides confirm payment, ensuring a safe and controlled process.
If you want to understand what can happen when a withdrawal doesn’t follow the usual steps - for example, unusual deal flows or cancellations - check our P2P Withdrawals FAQ & Troubleshooting.
⚠️ P2P withdrawals are currently available only in certain regions (for example, Botswana, Ghana and selected African countries). If P2P service is available in your country, you will see “P2P” section under Finance in your Personal Profile. If you don’t see this section, it means the service is not yet available in your region.
KYC verification is required to use P2P withdrawals. According to platform policy, withdrawals must be made to the same payment method that was previously used for deposits. If you have never made a deposit via P2P, you will not be able to withdraw funds using P2P service.
1. Open P2P section. Log in to your Weltrade Personal Profile and go to Finance → P2P. Use Offer type filter to select Withdrawal if needed. You can search or filter by payment method, currency and amount if needed.
2. Choose an offer. Make sure that you've selected Withdrawal in Offer type. Review the list of Payment Agent offers. Each offer shows the agent’s name, current exchange rate, available balance and min/max withdrawal limits. When you find a suitable offer, click Sell to continue.
3. Fill in the withdrawal deal form. Select the trading account you want to withdraw from and enter withdrawal amount. (P2P withdrawals are only available for USD accounts - just like P2P deposits.) Choose a Wallet where you would like to receive funds. If you don’t have a wallet yet, click Add Wallet and follow the instructions in “How to Create a P2P Wallet” section below.
How to create a P2P Wallet?
How to create a P2P Wallet?
A P2P Wallet is where you receive money when using peer-to-peer (P2P) service on Weltrade. You need at least one wallet to make withdrawals via P2P. Creating it is quick and is done directly while setting up a P2P deal.
⚠️ Make sure you enter correct account details - money sent to the wrong number or bank account cannot be recovered. Use only your own payment details; do not create wallets with someone else’s information.
1. Go to P2P section. Log in to your Weltrade Personal Profile and open Finance → P2P. You can create a wallet directly when setting up a P2P withdrawal deal - there is no separate menu to pre-create wallets.
2. Start adding a new wallet. In P2P section, click Add Wallet. This option appears when you first try to create a withdrawal deal and don’t have any wallets yet, or you can find it in the wallet creation form.
Wallet creation form
Payment method and currency fields are prefilled with values from selected withdrawal offer.
Wallet name (its a custom name for your Wallet) - you can enter any value (letters/numbers), this is how the created wallet will be displayed in dropdowns when selecting.
Account holder name - name of the account holder to make the transfer
Recipient account detail - account number / card number / email / phone number or other relevant info to make the transfer
Additional money Transfer Instructions - any instruction to a payment agent to make a transfer. This field can be empty.
3. Save your wallet. After reviewing your information, click Create Now. Your wallet will now appear in dropdown list when you create P2P withdrawal requests.
Tips for safe wallet setup
Use only your personal account. Third-party accounts can lead to payment rejection or compliance issues.
Keep your wallet details updated if you change bank accounts or phone numbers.
If a payment agent ever asks you to use different details than the ones in the system, do not proceed and contact support.
4. Confirm your request. Review the summary of your withdrawal deal and click Place Order. The system will check that the offer is still available and, if everything is valid, will create your request. It will then appear in Active Deals tab.
5. Wait for payment agent. After your request is placed, it first goes through an internal review by Weltrade - just like any other withdrawal request. During this time the deal shows the status Awaiting System Approval and this check may take up to 30 minutes. Once the internal review is completed, the deal is sent to the payment agent and its status changes to Awaiting Agent Approval. The agent has up to 24 hours to review and confirm your withdrawal request. After the agent accepts your request, the status updates to Awaiting Agent Payment - from this moment the agent has 30 minutes to send the funds to the wallet you specified.
6. Receive your funds. Once the agent accepts and sends the money, they will upload payment proof to the platform. You will then see a Payment received button inside your deal. Before clicking it, check your bank account or payment app to make sure the funds have arrived. You can also open Chat & History inside the deal to view payment proof file uploaded by the agent.
7. Confirm receipt. When the money has been successfully received, click Payment received. A confirmation window will appear - approve the receipt and your withdrawal will be completed. The deal will then move from Active Deals tab to Completed Deals section of your cabinet.
Extra tips for Weltrade P2P withdrawal
Security
When creating a wallet for P2P withdrawals, be careful and make sure you enter correct payment details - funds sent to the wrong account cannot be recovered. Always use only payment details shown in Withdrawal Deal form. Do not communicate with agents via WhatsApp, email or any other external channels. Never share your account credentials, security codes or sensitive personal data. If an agent asks you to send funds or confirm payment using details that do not match the ones shown in the platform, do not proceed and contact our support team at [email protected].
Fees & exchange rates
Weltrade does not charge any commission for P2P withdrawals, and payment agents also do not take an extra fee. You pay only according to the exchange rate set in the selected offer and any possible charges from your own payment provider (for example, your bank or mobile wallet). The agent will send exactly the amount shown in the deal but will not cover fees that your provider may deduct.
Limits & currency
P2P withdrawals are available only from USD trading accounts - just like P2P deposits. All general withdrawal policies of the platform apply to P2P transactions. The minimum and maximum limits as well as the available withdrawal currencies are defined individually by each offer and shown when you select it.
