How to verify my Weltrade account?

Learn how to verify your Weltrade account step by step. Find out which documents are required, how long verification takes, and how to complete the process successfully.

Verifying your Weltrade account is an important step to ensure the security of your funds and full access to platform features - including withdrawals and bonus programs. Account verification also helps prevent fraud and complies with financial regulations.


General information about Weltrade account verification

  • Verification is required for withdrawals, bonuses, and full account access.

  • Verification processing time. Usually your account is verified within 24 hours. A confirmation email will be sent once the account is verified. However, if additional verification is required — such as providing proof of residence, source of funds, or income — the process may take up to 14 business days.

  • Documents needed to pass verification successfully:

    • Proof of identity (e.g., passport, national ID, or driver’s license)

    • In some cases, proof of residence (e.g., utility bill or bank statement)


How to start identity verification

Before starting verification, you must fill in your personal information in your Personal Profile (Settings - Verification - sections Mobile number and Personal information. Section Email address should be verified during registration).

To start verification, go to Settings → Verification in your Personal Profile. Go to section Identity verification (KYC) and click Manage. After clicking the button, a verification window from the verification service will open. In this window you need to select:

  • Country

  • Type of document

The selected country is used only to display the appropriate list of document types available in that country.

If you prefer to take photos using your phone, you can continue the verification on your phone by clicking the link shown under the button in the verification window.


Upload identity documents

After selecting the document type, the system will show instructions on how to correctly photograph your document.

Depending on the document you choose, you will need to upload:

  • Both sides of an ID card, or

  • One page of a passport

Make sure that:

  • The entire document is visible

  • The image is clear and readable

  • There are no reflections or blurred areas

  • The document is valid (not expired)

Once the document is uploaded, +automatic document verification process begins. This usually takes about 1 minute.


Automatic document recognition

After the document is processed, the system displays personal data extracted from the document through automatic recognition. You will see the information that the system detected from your document before continuing with verification.

Important: If this information does not match the information on your document, automatic verification will fail and your case will be sent for further review.

Liveness (selfie) verification

For some countries, an additional Liveness check is required. During this step:

  1. The system will ask you to enable your camera.

  2. Your face will be compared with the photo from the uploaded document.

  3. You will need to follow the on-screen instructions.

Typically you will be asked to:

  • Look directly at the camera

  • Turn your head left and right

You must allow your browser to access your camera to complete this step. All the instructions will be shown on the screen.

Completing the verification process

Now, the system will check all the details.

After all steps are finished, click Complete. This returns you to verification page in your Personal Profile where the final verification status will be displayed.

Processing time for verification is up to 24 hours. If you are requested to provide any additional information (selfie with ID, proof of residence, etc.), verification should also take up to 24 hours since you’ve received a request. Proof of residence may include a recent utility bill, bank statement, or an official document showing your address (not older than 3 months).


Verification status and results

Successful verification

If verification is successful:

  • Your Personal Profile status changes to Verified / Completed.

  • You receive an email confirming successful verification.

  • Verification section in your Personal Profile should look like this:

Automatic verification failed

If automatic verification cannot confirm your identity:

  • Verification status in your Personal Profile will show verification in progress.

  • Your documents will be reviewed further. You should receive the decision within 24 hours in your email. You can also check Verification section of your Weltrade profile for rejection reasons and upload documents again if needed.

You will also see a banner in your Dashboard if any documents need to be uploaded additionally.

Important: You won’t be able to make withdrawals if your profile isn’t fully verified.

Restrictions on accepted documents

Documents issued in the following regions cannot be accepted for verification:

  • Europe

  • United States

  • Canada

These countries cannot be selected in the document country list. If you attempt to upload such documents by selecting another country, the verification system will display a message informing that the document cannot be accepted.

⚠️Important information:

  • All uploaded documents must be clear, complete, and legible to verify your account online.

  • Documents for verification must be submitted in one of the supported formats: JPG, PNG, or JPEG.

  • Your full name in the documents must match the name used during registration.

  • If verification is denied, you will receive specific instructions to re-submit your request.
